Akuliarutsip Sermersuaa were named by Swedish professor Adolf Erik
Nordenskjold. In early 1900 Inland ice were famous to walk across
the inland ice, and Adolf were with these trips.
Professor Nordenskjold was famous at that period, he had a theory
about Greenland had trees and lake in long time ago.
The trip to
Nordenskjold Gletcher, there are guides who knows the area, and have
a good experience with dog sledge, and they know well together, and
the quantity of dogs are
about 20.
In these periods

nights, the midnights sun is about coming, and at nights there are
stars and you also can see northern lights.
When the weather

snow.
through the trip
there are possibilities to see: Moscus ox, Reindeer, Snow rabbits,
Snow fox, And you can also see seals who sun them selves in the ice.
Day 1: Kangaatsiaq:
Visitors arrives to Kangaatsiaq and will be welcome to
our city, and after that there will be a presentation to guides, and
information about how the trip should go. Packing to the trip.
Day 2: Kangerluluk:
The first dog sledge day, there will be used the road to Aasiaat, only
few lakes from Tunorsuaq to Kangerluluk, there will be night over,
in near of old small town Qeqertarsuatsiaq, during the trip you can
see seals who sun themselves if the weather is great.
Day 3: Nordenskjold Gletscher:
Trip to Kangerluluk and to Nordenskjold Gletcher, it is
almost a desert only few people go through that road and it is
called Naternaq. At winter you can see Moscus ox, reindeer, snow
fox, snow rabbits and grouse, and the bird grouse comes often to see
what happening at their surroundings. you spent the night with a
tent.
Day
4: Kangerluluk:
Trip to
Nordenskjold Gletcher and back to Kangerluluk.
Day 5: Kangaatsiaq:
Trip to Kangerluluk and to Kangaatsiaq.
Day 6: Departure from Kangaatsiaq.
